Monitoring
Check that your important pages open and stay open to search, and get an email when one stops.
Monitoring overview
Open Site → Monitoring. Monitoring checks a short list of important pages on a schedule — once a day by default, at a time in your company’s time zone. The full site audit still runs weekly; monitoring is the light daily check between audits.
Each check looks at the server response and time, the redirect chain, noindex and X-Robots-Tag, a block in robots.txt, and whether the canonical points to the page itself. A page that does not answer in 10 seconds counts as a problem. The set is fixed and the check does not render the page.
Monitoring is available on the Starter, Business and Enterprise plans. On Free the tab shows an example.
How to turn on monitoring
Click Turn on monitoring. The pages are picked and checked right away; after that they follow the schedule. Use the switch at the top to turn it off or on again. Members and above can change monitoring; Viewers see it read-only.
Some checks send no email: the check after switching on, the check of a page you just added, a check started with Check again and the first check after a pause. Problems they find are shown on the tab without an email.
Which pages are checked
The system picks the home page, pricing, lead forms, pages with conversions in the last 28 days and pages of open recommendations. The picked pages are updated before each check. Why it is listed shows the reason for each page.
To add a page, click Add page, enter an address on your site and click Add. It is checked right after you add it. Pages you add stay until you remove them. A page you remove with Remove is not proposed again, and its open monitoring recommendation is closed.
The counter shows how many pages of your plan’s limit are used. Pages beyond the limit, for example after a move to a smaller plan, stay in the list marked Off after the plan change and are not checked.
How problems are confirmed and reported
When a check finds a problem, the page is checked again 60 seconds later. Only a problem that repeats counts. A short failure whose retry passed shows in the 14-day strip but sends no email.
A confirmed problem appears under Problems now with its kind, such as does not open, returns an error, closed from indexing or canonical points to another page. It also opens a technical recommendation for the page; see Technical. The recommendation closes by itself when the page is in order again. A page marked as closed intentionally in its page audit gets no recommendation for indexing or canonical problems.
Emails follow three rules: one email per check, no repeat emails until the problem is fixed, and one email when the page is in order again.
Good to know Some sites answer automated checks with a protection page (WAF or CDN). Such pages are listed as check blocked, not as down — visitors may still open them. To check them, allow the User-Agent shown on the tab in your protection settings, then click Check again.
How to choose who gets emails
Under Who gets emails, tick the team members who should receive them. When monitoring is first switched on, the list starts with the person who switched it on and the company Owners. Emails go to their account address only. A member removed from the team leaves the list automatically, and each email has a link to unsubscribe. An empty list means nobody is emailed.
How to change the check time
Under Check schedule, click Change time, pick the time and click Save. The number of changes you can make yourself is limited, and the screen shows how many are left. Several checks a day are set up by your Supasaito manager; the schedule then shows Managed by your CSM.
Good to know Checks and emails stop while the subscription is paused or the account is frozen, together with scans. Pages and settings are kept.
