Prompts and categories
Choose the questions used in AI scans and group related questions into categories.
Prompts overview
Open AI visibility → Prompts. A prompt is a question asked of an AI model. Categories group related prompts so you can compare a meaningful set of answers.
Use questions your buyers would ask. Check the selected brand, buyer market and plan limits before adding a large set. A prompt can have no category; it then appears as Uncategorized.
The standard active-prompt/category limits per brand are Free 15/5, Starter 40/7 and Business 135/15. Your company’s usage card shows the actual configuration. Existing items above a revised cap remain accessible; additional creation or activation needs available capacity.
How to add or edit a prompt
- Click Add prompt.
- Enter the question and select a category, or Uncategorized.
- Click Add.
Adding a prompt does not start a scan. Wait for an eligible scheduled scan or use a manual refresh if your allowance permits it. The row’s edit action changes the question without automatically scanning it.
How to generate prompts
Generate prompts writes new questions for your categories from your business documents and market research. Generation needs a paid plan.
- To generate for particular categories only, select them in the categories selector first. Without a selection, every category can receive prompts.
- Click Generate prompts. A confirmation shows each category that will receive prompts, its current count and how many will be added, and how many prompts your plan will use afterwards.
- Confirm to start, or click Cancel.
Empty categories and categories with few prompts receive prompts first, and generation adds at most 20 generated prompts to a category. The new prompts cover the whole buying path — the problem, the options and the choice — and are scanned right after generation. While generation runs, progress appears on the page. Review the resulting questions and use Undo if you need to remove that batch; categories stay.
The button is unavailable, with the reason in its tooltip, when the brand has no categories, every category already holds 20 prompts, the daily generation limit is used up, or fewer free prompt slots remain than a batch needs. Prompts you deleted are not generated again.
Prompts that name tracked brands are identified separately. Keep those branded questions distinct when interpreting market visibility — see Prompts.
How to organise categories
Categories group related prompts so you can view their results together. A prompt belongs to one category or stays Uncategorized. Uncategorized is not an “Other” category.
On this page, the categories selector is a filter: select one or more categories, or Uncategorized. The number beside Categories counts categories; the numbers beside individual categories and All categories count prompts.
Select prompt rows and use Assign category to move them into an existing category, or Create new category to create one for them.
To add, rename, recolour, delete or reorder categories, choose Manage categories in the selector. It opens AI visibility → Categories; see Categories. The first category in that order is the main one, the default for prompt generation and recommendations.
Good to know Deleting a category leaves its prompts in place without that category. It does not delete their answers.
How to get category suggestions
Open the categories selector, or the Categories page, and choose Suggest categories. In Suggested categories, start the request; Supasaito looks for buyer tasks your categories do not cover yet, using your business documents and market research. Tick the ideas that fit and create them. Nothing is created until you do. Suggest again replaces the current ideas. Suggestions need a paid plan.
New categories start empty; generate prompts for them as described above, or from the category’s own page.
How to refresh or delete prompts
Select rows and use Refresh selected to request a manual scan. This consumes the applicable refresh allowance. Changing the model filter above the table only changes the view; it does not select the models used for scans. Use AI models for that.
The row menu’s delete action or Delete selected removes prompts and their answer history after confirmation. This cannot be undone through the app. The current page does not offer a separate archive workflow.
How to measure buyer queries
Site → Buyer queries lists the words buyers search with and how many of your prompts contain each. A query that no prompt contains gets a recommendation; from it you can generate five prompts containing that query in a category of your choice, or write them yourself. See Site audit.
Read a prompt’s funnel stage
After a scan, the platform classifies the prompt’s buyer stage from its text and available answers. Stages help read awareness, comparison and decision coverage; they are separate from prompt categories and from the sales funnels used by campaigns. If classification is unavailable, the stage remains undetermined and is excluded from stage comparisons. Branded prompts are kept separate in funnel comparisons. See Competitors.
