Part-timeContract Remote (Japan)

About the role

We build and maintain websites for Japanese B2B companies, most of them in Webflow. The work ranges from new builds and platform migrations to ongoing improvements on sites we already run — individual tasks are usually small, but they need care and quick turnaround.

You’d take a task from a design or a written request through to a finished, working page: building it in Webflow, matching our conventions, and checking it properly before handing it over.

Direct client communication is what we value most beyond the build itself. Our tasks tend to be small but conversation-heavy, so someone who can discuss requirements with a client in Japanese and turn that into working pages is far more useful to us than someone who only takes finished specs. It isn’t required to start — but it’s the thing that makes this role grow.

Part-time or contract, with a flexible schedule. We agree on scope and deadlines per task.

What we’re looking for

  • Proficiency in Webflow — you can build a responsive site from a design on your own

  • Solid HTML and CSS fundamentals
  • Able to work independently, estimate your own tasks and meet deadlines

Nice to have

  • Client-facing communication skills — discussing requirements and changes directly with clients

  • Figma, and experience building from incomplete designs
  • Experience with CMS or platform migrations
