Webflow Japan Community

Background

Supasaito is taking lead in building a community to gather for Webflow users in Japan.

We have designed and developed a landing page to showcase community features and benefits of being a part of it.

Design

We created design in a theme of Sakura cherry blossom to symbolize Japan. Adding dark background for the website and small colorful accents we created a mood of night sakura.

Main visual image has an animated effect of falling sakura flowers.

One more point for the design is a usage of grid layout. Each piece of information is placed in a card inside the grid making the content easy to follow one by one.

In general the design is simple, but it has small accents such as micro-interactions on mouse hover which help to keep user's focus on a particual piece of content.

Small details like that encourage users to play with micro-interactions and take action by following the links to the discord server, events or other pages.

Development

We used Webflow to build the website.

桜が舞い落ちるアニメーションは、Webflowと互換性のあるSpline(３Dアニメーション作成ツール)で制作しています。

For the animated effect of falling cherry flowers we used a 3D model build in Spline. Webflow has an integration component for Spline models, so it is a great choice to use these tools together.
